La chiusura perfetta per festeggiare in modo unico e irripetibile l’inizio della produzione della nona distilleria di Islay: la Ardnahoe.

L’Ardbeg 26 Years Old è il sesto dei sei rilasci della serie The Kinship, la bottiglia porta infatti impresso il numero 6 in etichetta. Questo single malt Scotch whisky è stato distillato nel 1992 dalla distilleria Ardbeg di Islay ed è stato fatto invecchiare per 26 anni in una botte refill di tipo hogshead e imbottigliato a gradazione naturale di 47,2% vol. in 387 bottiglie totali.

“Beautiful notes of sea breezes, drying freshly cut peat, and sun-bleached seaweed. At this age it’s in its absolute prime. Stunning notes of oak smoked toffee and marzipan introduce themselves onto the senses. Heather moor fires, salt encrusted sails, bracken with a rare dash of pepper and lemon. It’s elegant and succulent without a hint of harshness."
