One feature of the Knockando distillery is to include not only the age of the whisky on the label but also the year of distillation.

The Knockando 18 Years Old Slow Matured is a single malt Scotch whisky aged exclusively in ex-sherry casks for at least 18 years until its bottling at 43% vol.

The package contains: One 70cl bottle of Knockando 18 Years Old and two tasting glasses.

Tasting Notes

Color: Light amber.

Aroma: Deep and rich in fruit, the sherry notes dominate, followed by vanilla and fresh almond; with the addition of water, the fruity notes become even clearer but there is an increase in acidity.

Taste: Sweet with notes of vanilla, almond, sherry, and oak wood with hints of malt; with the addition of water, it sweetens, enhancing the malt notes.

Finish: Of good length, smooth, with light spicy notes and brown sugar.
