The Oban distillery, located in the picturesque town of the same name on Scotland’s west coast, is one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious distilleries. Founded in 1794 by the Stevenson brothers, the distillery has a rich history intertwined with the development of the town itself, which grew around it. Situated between the sea and the Scottish Highlands, its unique location deeply influences the character of the whisky produced. The Oban 10 Years Old is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a mix of refill ex-bourbon casks and finished in recharred ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This whisky was bottled at cask strength (58% vol.).
