Color: Amber yellow.
Nose: Very peaty (iodine) but with notes of vanilla and citrus; with the addition of water, strong oceanic minerality and brine emerge, with notes of lime and beeswax.
Taste: An explosion of peat, Ardbeg’s signature, then the sweetness of vanilla, BBQ meat, lime, black pepper and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, persistent and smoky with notes of citrus peel, toasted almonds and hints of malt and pear.
