"Coire Leis" is the name of the distillery's water source, a small loch (lake in Scottish) whose waters flow down the slopes of Ben Nevis and reach Fort William.
The Ben Nevis Coire Leis is a lightly peated single malt Scotch whisky aged between 8 and 10 years in first-fill ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at a classic 46% vol., unchill-filtered, and in its natural color.

Colore: Oro pallido.
Color: Pale gold.
Aroma: On the nose, we are greeted by Ben Nevis' signature "dirty" character, alongside notes of honey, vanilla, spicy oak, citrus, and butter biscuits.
Taste: On the palate, it feels more fruity with notes of apricot, banana, followed by malted barley, freshly baked bread, and a light touch of spicy oak.
Finish: Medium in length, starting with spicy notes (clove and cinnamon), then red apple, citrus, and vanilla, with a very subtle hint of mineral smoke.
