When we talk about Pennsylvania-style rye, we mean Old Monongahela—a unique whiskey made with a mash bill of 80% grain and 20% malt, with not a single kernel of corn in the recipe. Dad's Hat follows the classic Old Monongahela rye and barley formula but adds a modern twist by aging the whiskey in casks that once held sweet vermouth or port, enhancing it with an extra layer of silky, fruity complexity.
The Dad’s Hat 6 Years Old is a single malt whiskey aged for 6 years in selected oak barrels before being bottled at cask strength 64% ABV, non-chill filtered, and at its natural color, with only 289 bottles available.
