The Glen Moray distillery was founded in 1897, although it originally operated as a brewery dating back to 1828. When the owners saw that the demand for whisky was surpassing that of beer, they decided to convert their small factory into a distillery.
The Glen Moray 15 Years Old – Elgin Heritage is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 15 years in a combination of casks that previously held American whiskey and Oloroso sherry. The balance between these casks creates a sweet, smooth, and easy-drinking whisky—a true traditional Speyside malt.
