Founded in 1967 in Speyside, GlenAllachie has established itself thanks to its artisanal character and an obsessive attention to wood quality. Since 2017, under the guidance of Billy Walker, the distillery has reduced production in favour of aromatic richness, invested heavily in cask management, and created series such as “Sinteis”, which renew the traditionally Speyside style of the distillery with a modern sensibility.
The GlenAllachie Sintesis Series Part II is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2015 and matured in two types of casks: Scottish virgin oak and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a single malt bottled at 58.2% ABV (cask strength), unchill-filtered and with no added colouring. A limited release designed for those who love exploring the elegance of less conventional oak combined with the depth of sherry.

Color: Deep amber with reddish-mahogany highlights.
Aroma: On the nose we find notes of coffee and dark chocolate, followed by red fruits, butter, cinnamon, lemon peel, and cane sugar with a light herbal hint.
Taste: On the palate we have notes of heather honey, candied citrus peel, nutmeg, ginger biscuits, and baked apple with hints of vanilla and spiced oak.
Finish: Medium in length, enveloping, with notes of dark chocolate, nutmeg, a touch of spiced orange, and a final sweetness with hints of vanilla and toasted wood.
