Founded in 1829 under the name Kilnflat, the distillery changed its name to the current one in 1871 when it was acquired by Charles Hay. For several years the distillery has been owned by the French group Pernod Ricard, and its malts form the base of the famous Ballantine’s blend.
The Glenburgie 11 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Morrison Distillers for the Càrn Mòr series. It was distilled in 2010 and rested for at least 11 years in ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead casks before being bottled in 2022 at 47.5% ABV, without added colouring and non-chill filtered, in a total of 1,795 bottles.
