Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica’s oldest and most renowned distilleries, famous for producing high-ester rums in the traditional style. Since 2009, it has been owned by the Hussey family through Everglades Farms Limited, which has undertaken an ambitious restoration and expansion project to preserve the distillery’s historical heritage while increasing both production and aging capacity.
The Hampden Great House 2025 Edition represents a new interpretation of the spirit of Hampden, the result of a careful blend of rums personally selected by the master distiller. This edition combines different vintages and traditional Hampden marks (C<>H 2021, LFCH 2020, HLCF 2020, and HGML 2020). Aging takes place in ex-bourbon casks under tropical conditions. This Jamaican rum is bottled at 57% ABV, with no added sugar or additives.
