Founded in 1965 near the famous loch of the same name in the Highlands, the Loch Lomond Distillery is renowned for its remarkable production versatility: it employs no fewer than four different types of stills, from traditional pot stills to its unique straight‑neck stills. It produces both single malts (such as Inchmurrin, Inchmoan, and Croftengea) and blends, and is famous for experimenting with various maturation styles and flavor profiles, offering a truly broad and original range.
Inchmurrin takes its name from one of the islands in Loch Lomond (Inchmurrin is the largest island on the loch). Its style is more fruity and floral, thanks to the use of straight‑neck pot stills, which yield a lighter and more delicate new make compared to classic traditional pot stills.
The Inchmurrin 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky, distilled on January 6th, 2014 and aged in a single first‑fill ex‑bourbon barrel before being bottled on December 3rd, 2024 at its natural cask strength of 48.1% ABV, non‑chill‑filtered, in a total of 272 bottles.

Color: Golden yellow.
Aroma: A fruity sweetness greets the nose with ripe peaches, apricots, and marzipan intertwined with light hints of dry hay and cereal, earthy nuances, and a touch of coconut. A gentle saline note lingers in the background.
Taste: Fresh and slightly bitter on the palate, with dry wood and tart berries playing against vanilla sweetness and crêpe batter. Peach and lime follow, while a thread of honey and a creamy texture recall the marzipan from the nose.
Finish: Medium in length, leaving traces of green apples and citrus with toasted grain and dry wood. A subtle coffee note closes elegantly, alongside hints of yellow fruit and delicate spices.
