Founded in 1996, Murray McDavid is one of the most authoritative names among Scottish independent bottlers. Its approach is based on carefully selected single malt and single grain whiskies, bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring, with particular attention to spirit quality, maturation and transparency of information.
The Mystery Malt series by Murray McDavid brings together whiskies from undisclosed distilleries, selected exclusively for their organoleptic profile. The absence of the distillery name shifts the focus to what is inside the bottle: style, maturation and character of the spirit. These are single malts designed for enthusiasts who enjoy discovering whisky without preconceptions, guided solely by taste and the experience in the glass.
The Lennox Peat 6 Years Old is a heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2018 and aged in ex-bourbon casks for at least 6 years (both refill and first-fill), before being bottled in 2025 at its natural strength (56.3% vol.), without added colouring and without chill filtration, in a total of 797 bottles.
