The Mac-Talla Flora is a lightly peated single malt created to celebrate the botanical richness of the island of Islay. It offers a more floral and delicate profile while maintaining the island’s characteristic peat signature. Flora is matured for almost 70% in ex-sherry casks (Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez) and for the remaining 30% in ex-bourbon barrels.
Bottled at 48.2% ABV, unchill-filtered and at natural colour, it represents an elegant meeting between Islay’s coastal breeze, wildflowers, and the island’s distinctive peat.

Color: Bright yellow with straw-like reflections.
Aroma: On the nose, wildflowers and white-fleshed fruit emerge, accompanied by nutmeg, cinnamon, and a subtle hint of coastal peat.
Taste: On the palate it arrives almost gently, with notes of heather and wildflowers meeting a soft peat, followed by toasted hazelnut, butter biscuits, vanilla, and hints of ripe apple and pear.
Finish: Medium in length, never excessive, clean, with notes of oak wood, almond, a thread of smoke, cinnamon, and whispers of Islay’s salty sea air.
