Aroma: Opens with creamy notes of crème brûlée, followed by a mix of sweet and savory baking spices. Rye pepper, dark honey, and seasoned oak are well balanced by fruity hints of black cherry, grilled pineapple, and orange zest, along with earthier tones of pipe tobacco.
Palate: Buttery texture, revealing from the start flavors of toffee, sweet vanilla, and orange peel. Then follow nuances of sweet bread, fruit candy, golden raisins, and pastry cream. The mid-palate surprises with notes of chewing gum, leather, and gentle spices, while a slightly tart citrus component brings freshness.
Finish: Of good length, beginning with raspberry jam, powdered sugar, and buttercream, then turning toward drier and more complex notes of oak, leather, and tobacco leaf, with a subtle tannic presence and cocoa.
