Springbank’s “Sherry Wood” series includes a total of five releases, all aged for 10 years and all characterised by a double maturation with a finishing period in sherry casks. Following the earlier expressions in the series, this Fino 2025 marks the fourth release.
The Springbank 10 Years Old Sherry Wood Fino 2025 is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in July 2015 and bottled on 23 October 2025. It matured for 4 years in refill bourbon casks and 6 years in fresh Fino casks, and was bottled at 55% ABV, without chill filtration and with no added colouring. According to Whiskybase, the total outturn was 11,400 bottles.

Colour: Rich gold tending towards light amber.
Nose: Opens with notes of blood orange, spiced biscuits, vanilla cream and stewed fruit, with a light hint of damp earth.
Palate: Notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, fresh mint, cherry and lemon emerge on the palate, with hints of peat and black pepper.
Finish: Of good length, with notes of lemon, cola sweets, stewed apricot, cinnamon and maple syrup, with a light hint of peat smoke.
