Founded in 1828, Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown is today the oldest family-owned distillery in Scotland. It is also one of the most traditional, where every stage of the single malt production process is carried out entirely in-house — from malting to bottling — all carefully overseen by Springbank’s master distillers.
The Springbank 30 Years Old released in 2025 is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for a minimum of 30 years in a carefully selected cask mix: 85% American ex-bourbon casks and 15% European ex-sherry casks. Only 1,900 bottles have been released. This whisky is non-chill filtered, has no added coloring, and is bottled at 46% ABV.

Color: Honey with amber highlights.
Aroma: Sweet and slightly smoky with fruity notes of pear, plums, and red berries, harmonized with sherry tones and a hint of honey.
Palate: Elegant and well-balanced, with notes of sherry, plum jam, blood oranges, and a gentle peatiness accompanied by tobacco and milk chocolate.
Finish: Long and satisfying with notes of peat, vanilla, fresh earth, and wood.
