We have to admit that, aside from Claxton’s, there is only one other independent bottler that has truly been capturing our attention lately with its high-quality releases: Chorlton.
In this case, we’re talking about a blended malt whisky composed exclusively of two exceptional single malts: one from Glen Scotia and the other from Springbank, both matured together in a single cask. This expression embodies the rich tradition and craftsmanship of Campbeltown’s distilleries.
The Campbeltown Blended Malt 10 Years Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky made exclusively from single malts produced in the town of Campbeltown. This blend consists of only two whiskies: one Glen Scotia and one Springbank, aged together in a single hogshead cask for 10 years before being bottled at its natural strength of 58% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added color, in a total of 323 bottles.
