The Glenfiddich Experimental Series consists of four releases specifically designed to surprise — four “experiments” conceived by Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, to create unusual yet exciting whiskies. Following Glenfiddich IPA, Project XX, and Winter Storm, the latest addition is Fire & Cane — and it's peated!
The Glenfiddich Fire & Cane – Experimental Series is a no-age-statement single malt Scotch whisky made from rare peated Glenfiddich malts, initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels and then finished for 3 months in specially selected ex-rum casks from various South American distilleries.

Color: Light amber.
Aroma: On the nose, peat is immediately present — but forget the maritime character of Islay whiskies. Here, the peat is more mineral and earthy. Notes of caramel, cinnamon, fresh fruit, and hints of vanilla follow.
Palate: Medium-bodied, with notes of bonfire smoke in the woods, caramel, a touch of cinnamon, red apple, honey, and a subtle floral note.
Finish: Good persistence, smooth as only Glenfiddich can be, with sweet notes of vanilla and caramel, spices, and honey, while the peat smoke lingers in the background.
