North British is a historic grain distillery founded in Edinburgh in 1885 by a group of independent blenders, including Andrew Usher and William Sanderson, to produce high-quality grain whisky. This independent bottling by North Star Spirits, created for the tenth anniversary of the brand, celebrates its longevity.
The North British 30 Years Old is a single grain Scotch whisky distilled in December 1995 and bottled in March 2026. The whisky was matured for thirty years in a single refill hogshead — a second-fill cask that allows the full maturity of the distillate to emerge without overpowering it. It is bottled at natural cask strength (50.2% vol.), without chill filtration and at its natural colour, in a limited edition of 436 bottles.
