Legends from ancient Scottish folklore speak of sightings of a strange beast that stirred fear and awe across many Scottish villages. Said to roam the rain- and wind-swept moorlands in search of the purest peat, this creature is the spirit behind Peat’s Beast—a rich and monstrously peated (35ppm) single malt that brings this fearsome myth to life.
The Peat’s Beast Cask Strength is a peated single malt Scotch whisky with no age statement, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, then bottled at full strength (52.1% ABV), non-chill filtered and with no added coloring.

Aroma: The nose opens straight away with peat—damp, smoky peat reminiscent of a stormy night on the beach—followed by notes of candied orange peel, burnt sugar, raisins, and cinnamon.
Taste: On the palate, the peat is enveloping, joined by flavors of figs, vanilla, brown sugar, and iodine, with hints of dark chocolate and cinnamon.
Finish: Long and lingering, with notes of burnt caramel, extinguished beach bonfire, licorice root, cinnamon, and vanilla.
