Bottled by Speciality Drinks, this Port Askaig is a peated single malt from a mysterious distillery on the Isle of Islay. Nothing more has leaked about its identity — some speculate it could be a Lagavulin or a Caol Ila — but what matters most to us is that it is good, and the Port Askaig definitely is.
The Port Askaig 8 Years Old is a peated single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 8 years mainly in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at 45.8% vol.
