Also known as the land of the “Three White Treasures” – snow, rice, and sake – the Niigata prefecture is home to the Shinobu Distillery. The company received its whisky production license in 2017 and carefully selects single malts to recreate the flavor profile that will shape the distillery’s future bottlings.
The Shinobu Pure Malt 10 Years Old Mizunara Finish is a Japanese blended malt whisky composed of single malts sourced from various distilleries, aged for a minimum of 10 years in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. It is then finished for several months in rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring.
