The Ardnamurchan distillery is a whisky distillery located in the namesake region in western Scotland. It is one of the country's newest distilleries, having been built in 2014. Its location is particularly striking, set on a remote and wild peninsula surrounded by spectacular landscapes, including mountains, forests, and picturesque coastlines.
Ardnamurchan AD/ Cask Strength is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled using 87% medium-peated barley malt and 13% unpeated, aged in a mix of ex-bourbon (90%) and ex-sherry (10%) casks before being bottled at its natural strength (58.1%), non-chill filtered, and at its natural color.

Aroma: The nose offers notes of lime and orange, cinnamon, honey, and peat smoke with hints of sea breeze.
Palate: On the palate, there are notes of vegetal peat smoke, apple, citrus, barley malt, and candied orange, with hints of vanilla and seaweed.
Finish: Medium in length, with notes of candied citrus peel, where the peat smoke feels more marine, with hints of iodine, vanilla, and toasted oak.
