Founded in 2014, the distillery is located on the UK's most westerly peninsula, a region surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean with breathtaking views of islands, castles, lakes, and untouched landscapes from every angle. Ardnamurchan produces two distinctive styles of single malt: one peated and one unpeated.
The Ardnamurchan AD Rum Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky composed of 18 casks of unpeated whisky distilled in 2018 and 13 casks of peated whisky distilled in 2017, all initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being married and finished in ex-rum casks from Jamaica. This whisky is non-chill filtered, naturally colored, and bottled in 2023 at 55% ABV in a limited release of 8,334 bottles.
