Active since 2014, the Ardnamurchan distillery is dedicated to crafting a unique, high-quality single malt. Over its first decade, both the distillery and its products have developed significantly. The initial release, Ardnamurchan Spirit 2016/AD, was still too young to be labeled "whisky" yet sold out in a single day due to the immense interest in this new and promising player in the whisky world.
The Ardnamurchan AD Sherry Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky crafted from a selection of 21 casks of both peated and unpeated single malt, aged exclusively in ex-Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks before being bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and at its natural color.

Color: Amber.
Aroma: Notes of berries, bonfire smoke, black pepper, and chocolate on the nose, with hints of figs and hazelnut.
Palate: Oily on the palate, starting with sea salt and BBQ meat, then softening with notes of sherry, figs, and dried plums.
Finish: Good length, with notes of salted caramel, spiced wood, raisins, figs, and a hint of chocolate.
