The "Cask Craft" series from the independent bottler Murray McDavid is a range of single malts sourced from all over Scotland and expertly matured in a variety of cask types that showcase a refined balance between wood and spirit.
For this bottling, we have a Benrinnes from the Speyside distillery, a non-peated single malt with notes of sweet malt, fruit, and a light touch of fragrant bread, which was finished in ex-Port wine casks that imparted sweet red fruit notes, a hint of chocolate, and sweet spicy oak undertones.
The Benrinnes Port Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky aged in selected oak casks and finished for several months in ex-Tawny Port wine casks before being bottled at 44.5% ABV in its natural color.

Color: Pink Amber.
Aroma: On the nose, we have notes of freshly baked bread, toasted almonds, apple, caramel, walnuts, and dark chocolate.
Taste: On the palate, it is sweet with lovely notes of chocolate and malt, followed by peach, apricot, and orange.
Finale: Medium finish with notes of cloves, chocolate, cherry jam, cinnamon, and caramel.Related Products
