The “Cask Craft” series from independent bottler Murray McDavid is a range of single malts sourced from across Scotland, skillfully matured in a variety of cask types that highlight a refined balance between wood and spirit.
For this bottling, we have a Croftengea—the peated single malt from Loch Lomond—featuring fresh fruit and creamy sweetness, which was finished in ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky. These casks have imparted creamy notes of vanilla, caramel, tropical fruit, and spice to the spirit.
The Croftengea Bourbon Finish is a peated single malt Scotch whisky aged in selected oak barrels and finished for several months in ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky before being bottled at 44.5%, at its natural color.
