Bunnahabhain Cruach Mhòna
We can say that Bunnahabhain’s peated whiskies are the exception that proves the rule. The distillery, famous for its light and floral styles, also reveals its peated side.

Bunnahabhain fans are used to enjoying their favourite whisky without peat, but what happens if we go back in time to when the distillery only produced peated whiskies? Fortunately, Bunnahabhain meets us halfway and every year releases a limited series of single malts distilled from peated barley.
The Bunnahabhain Cruach Mhòna (Gaelic for “peat stack”) is a peated single malt Scotch whisky aged in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 50% vol. without an age statement.
