n the vibrant heart of Glasgow, on the banks of the Clyde, stands The Clydeside Distillery, one of the youngest and most promising distilleries in the Scottish Lowlands. Opened in 2017 within the historic Queen’s Dock Pump House, the distillery symbolizes the rebirth of urban whisky — a return to the city’s industrial roots, where the river once carried ships and now carries a new spirit.
This release is a direct homage to Robert Napier, a pioneer of Clyde shipbuilding and a key figure in Glasgow’s 19th-century development.
The Clydeside Napier is an unpeated single malt Scotch whisky made exclusively from Scottish barley and the pure water of Loch Katrine. It is aged for at least six years entirely in ex-Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at a classic 46% ABV, unchill-filtered and at natural color.
