Heaven Hill is one of the largest and most historic independent distilleries in Kentucky, founded in 1935 by the Shapira family. The Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond brand has a tradition dating back to 1939, when the distillery began producing bourbons compliant with the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, one of the strictest and most respected regulations in the American industry. This law requires that the whiskey be distilled in a single distillery, by a single distiller, in a single season, aged for at least 4 years, and bottled at 100 proof.
The Heaven Hill 7 Years Old Bottled in Bond is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced with Heaven Hill’s traditional mash bill: 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley. It is distilled in copper column stills and aged for at least 7 years in new charred American oak barrels. This whiskey has been bottled at 50% vol. (100 proof) with its natural color.
