Produced by the Heaven Hill distillery, Rittenhouse Straight Rye is a whiskey dedicated to the famous square in Philadelphia. The square was dedicated to David Rittenhouse in 1825. David was an astronomer and scientist, as well as a friend of the “American Revolution” and the first Director of the United States Mint.
The Rittenhouse Straight Rye is a rye whiskey aged for 4 years and composed of 51% rye, 37% corn and 12% malted barley. It is a “bottled-in-bond”, meaning a whiskey produced in a single season, distilled in a single distillery, aged for at least 4 years and bottled at 100 proof. – 50% vol.

Palate: Full-bodied with notes of orange, dark chocolate, white pepper and vanilla.
Finish: Medium/short persistence, slightly spicy with notes of leather, spicy oak, pepper and a touch of rye.
