Starting from France on January 20, the Kilchoman European Tour 2026 will visit as many as 26 nations. The Italian stops took place from January 29 to 31 and included the cities of Rome, Modena, Bologna and Bari. To celebrate this new tour, the distillery decided to create an exclusive release with a personalized label in tribute to this great journey.
The Kilchoman Mezcal Cask Matured is a peated single malt Scotch whisky, without age statement, matured exclusively in casks that previously held mezcal before being bottled at 50% vol., without chill filtration and at its natural colour.
The purchase includes: one 700ml bottle of Kilchoman Mezcal Cask Matured and one official tour t-shirt size XL.

Aroma: On the nose, this Kilchoman immediately stands out for an unusual yet well-defined aromatic profile: the classic Islay peat intertwines with a clear agave imprint, creating a fresh and vegetal bouquet. Lively citrus, delicate honey and a subtle maritime vein emerge, accompanied by light herbaceous and mineral nuances.
Taste: The entry is assertive, with an earthy peat that quickly merges with sweet-and-sour and slightly woody notes. Agave returns to the forefront together with honey and citrus, while accents of tropical fruit—especially pineapple—develop progressively, supported by black pepper, anise and a pleasant maritime salinity. The profile remains dry, herbaceous and well balanced between the two souls.
Finale: Long and oily, with returning notes of earthy peat, spices and toasted oak. Citrus notes, honey and aromatic herbs persist, with a slightly saline and peppery close.
