Located on the western side of Islay, Kilchoman Distillery is a rare example of a true “farm distillery”: it grows its own barley, carries out floor malting, and distills entirely on-site. In just two decades, it has won the hearts of whisky enthusiasts around the world with its elegant and authentic peated whiskies, always true to the island’s character.
The Kilchoman 100% Islay 14 Years Old Sherry Cask is a peated single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2010 using only home-grown malted barley. It was then matured exclusively in just five ex-Oloroso sherry butts before being bottled at cask strength (55% ABV), unchill-filtered and at natural color, in a total of 3,145 bottles.
