For a long time, Tormore remained relatively absent from the market as an official single malt, despite a Speyside production history dating back to 1960. Today, thanks to the new direction launched by Elixir Distillers, Tormore returns to whisky lovers with bottlings that place the spirit and its maturation at the centre, offering a more direct and informed expression of its whisky heritage.
The Tormore Legacy 21 Years Old Bourbon Barrel is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2003 and aged for 21 years in a first-fill single cask ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled at 48.4% vol., without chill filtration and at natural colour, in a total of 226 bottles.
