Clydeside Distillery is located in the historic Pumphouse of Queen’s Dock in Glasgow, a symbolic building in the city’s port and commercial history. Founded in 2017 by Tim Morrison, it belongs to a family deeply connected to Scotch whisky and represents the return of single malt production to Glasgow in modern times.
The Clydeside Fortnight is a peated single malt Scotch whisky produced in Glasgow by The Clydeside Distillery. The name refers to the two weeks each year during which the distillery produces peated spirit. Made with water from Loch Katrine and 100% Scottish barley malted with Highland peat, Fortnight is matured for at least six years in oak casks before being bottled at 46% vol., at its natural colour and without chill filtration.

Aroma: On the nose it opens with a gentle peat; alongside the smoke emerge notes of fruit such as apricot and pear, supported by a soft sweetness of vanilla and barley malt, with a light floral nuance.
Taste: On the palate the smoky component intertwines with notes of citrus, especially lemon, and a sweetness of heather honey and vanilla, with hints of yellow fruit and a light spiciness.
Finish: Of medium persistence, spicy and peated, with notes of peat smoke, soft spices, lemon and lime peel, with a slight dry sensation in the background.
