The Glasgow Distillery was founded in 2012 and began producing spirit in 2014, bringing single malt distillation back to the city of Glasgow after more than a century. This independent bottling by North Star Spirits, created for the tenth anniversary of the brand, enhances the young and vibrant spirit with an unusual and refined choice of wood.
The Glasgow 10 Years Old was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026. The whisky was matured for 10 years in a French oak cask that previously contained Old Vine Merlot from Château Palmer, the famous Grand Cru of the Margaux appellation. It is bottled at natural cask strength (62.9% vol.), without chill filtration and at its natural colour.
