Glen Garioch Distillery is located in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, and is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, founded in 1797. Historically linked to the Eastern Highlands style, Glen Garioch is known for a robust, malt-driven spirit, with a production approach that has maintained a traditional character over time and that in recent years has returned to using its own malting floors for barley processing.
The Glen Garioch 13 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for 13 years in a single first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. It was bottled by Chorlton Whisky at its natural strength of 50.2% vol., without added colouring and without chill filtration, for a total of 248 bottles.
