Kilchoman represents a rare example of a true “farm distillery,” where part of the barley is grown and malted on-site, while the rest comes from selected Scottish producers. In twenty years, it has become a symbol of authenticity and craftsmanship — a pure expression of the spirit of Islay.
The Kilchoman 18 Years Old Bourbon Cask is a peated single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2006 and matured in just five ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled at a classic 46% ABV, unchill-filtered and at natural color, in a total of 1,209 bottles.

Color: Deep gold with amber hues.
Aroma: Elegant and complex, with notes of vanilla, toasted coconut, crème brûlée, and honey over a delicate background of maritime smoke.
Taste: Rich and balanced, featuring baked apple, spiced biscuits, salted caramel, and candied citrus. The peat is gentle — more elegant than powerful.
Finish: Long and refined, with lingering notes of vanilla, salt, light ash, and a touch of sweet malt that softly carries through the palate.
