Port Askaig is the name of the village and port of the same name on the island of Islay. The village is located on the north-eastern coast of the island and is the main connection between Islay and the island of Jura; just over 500 metres to the north lies the Caol Ila distillery.
The Port Askaig 15 Years Old is a single malt matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Drawn from highly selected small batches, it is bottled at 50.5% vol. and is not chill-filtered. The distillery remains undisclosed; however, unconfirmed rumours point to Caol Ila.
