Founded in 1828 in the heart of Campbeltown, the ancient “whisky capital of the world”, the Springbank distillery is one of the few remaining family-run distilleries in Scotland and the only one to carry out every stage of production in-house: from malting the barley to bottling. This total control guarantees uncompromising artisanal quality and an unmistakable style.
The Springbank 1994 Vintage 31 Years Old is a lightly peated single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1994 and aged for approximately 31 years. This release comprises whiskies matured in three different types of cask: 80% ex-bourbon, 10% ex-sherry and 10% ex-red wine, before being bottled in 2026 at its natural strength of 45.1% vol., without chill filtration and without the addition of colouring, in a total of only 1,180 bottles.

Color: Liquid gold.
Nose: Opens with notes of tropical fruit: canned pineapple, mango, papaya and ripe melon, accompanied by notes of honey, sandalwood and an underlying damp earthiness typical of older Springbanks. Light maritime peat notes then emerge.
Palate: Full, rich and oily. Notes of lemon meringue, caramel, custard, mango, pineapple and popcorn arrive, with hints of malt, creamy vanilla, citrus and a light spiciness. The fruit remains incredibly fresh and vibrant, with a thread of wood and fresh herbs.
Finish: Long and elegant. The tropical notes persist for a long time, then give way to notes of coconut, fresh basil, a floral touch, light salinity and a mineral, delicately smoky close.
