Founded in 1828, the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown is today the oldest family-run distillery in Scotland. It is also one of the most traditional where all stages of the production process of its own single malt are carried out in-house, from malting to bottling; everything is carefully followed and carried forward by Springbank's master distillers.
The Springbank 30 Years Old, which arrived on the Italian market in 2026, is a single malt Scotch whisky aged for at least 30 years in a carefully selected mix of casks, of which 85% are American ex-bourbon casks and 15% are European ex-sherry casks. This whisky was bottled on 24/11/2025 and only 1,600 bottles were released; this single malt was bottled without chill-filtration and without the addition of colorants at 46% vol.
