Nc'nean distillery is located on the Morvern peninsula, on the west coast of Scotland. Founded in 2017, it is an independent distillery known for its sustainability-driven production approach and for a non-peated whisky style, generally characterised by a clean, fruity aromatic profile.
The Nc’nean 7 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky made exclusively from 100% organic Scottish barley, aged for 7 years in a single first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. It was bottled by Chorlton Whisky at its natural strength of 57.9% vol., without added colouring and without chill filtration, in a total outturn of 243 bottles.

Color: Pale gold.
Aroma: On the nose it opens with notes of red fruits, dried fruit, green apple, butter and honey, with hints of coconut and cereals.
Taste: On the palate it shows a surprisingly full body for its age, with notes of white pepper, apple, coconut, honey, butter biscuits and a pinch of salt.
Finish: Medium persistence, with notes of barley malt, vanilla, banana and black tea, with mineral hints typical of traditional Highland distillates.
