Benrinnes is located in Speyside, at the foot of Mount Ben Rinnes. It was founded in 1826 but destroyed by a flood just three years later. It was rebuilt and relocated to its current site, where in 1956 it was modernised – or rather completely rebuilt – so that none of the original buildings remain.
The 100 Proof series by Signatory features single malts bottled at 57.1% vol., the historic British proof strength, without chill filtration and with maturations designed to deliver whiskies with a bold and authentic profile.
The Benrinnes 13 Years Old 100 Proof is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2012 and matured for at least 13 years in first-fill and refill ex-sherry Oloroso butts, before being bottled on 11 June 2025 at 57.1% vol. (100 proof), without added colouring and without chill filtration.
