Cameronbridge is the largest grain whisky distillery in Scotland and one of the oldest. Founded in 1824 by John Haig, it still plays a central role in the production of grain whisky for some of the most important blends, using traditional Coffey column stills for distillation.
The Signatory 100 Proof series features whiskies bottled at 57.1% vol., the historic British strength, without chill filtration and with maturations designed to deliver bold and authentic profiles.
The Cameronbridge 16 Years Old 100 Proof is a single grain Scotch whisky distilled in 2009 and matured for at least 16 years in a combination of first-fill and second-fill ex-sherry Oloroso butts, before being bottled on 20 February 2025 at 57.1% vol. (100 proof), without added colour and without chill filtration.

Aroma: On the nose there are immediate sweet notes of caramel and butter biscuits, followed by dried fruit and dehydrated fruit. Clear sherry notes emerge, along with toasted hazelnuts and almonds.
Taste: On the palate it is sweet, with toffee notes in the foreground. These are followed by chocolate-covered raisins, spices and wood, with a light hint of maple syrup.
Finish: On the finish, sherry-driven spices, oak and dried fruit remain, accompanied by light floral notes.
