This Glen Elgin is part of the Warehouse No.8 series. Warehouse No.8 is located at Dalswinton Bond in the Scottish Lowlands and is primarily filled with octave casks or other smaller types of casks. Fruity aromas are the hallmark of Glen Elgin, and its long fermentation and slow distillation are the keys to this excellent single malt.
The Glen Elgin 9 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled on January 27th, 2016, and aged in a classic ex-bourbon oak cask before being finished for at least 6 months in a single ex-Brandy octave cask (#C25131). It was bottled in 2025 at cask strength (53.2% ABV), non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, in a total of just 71 bottles.
