Aberfeldy 12 Years Old 2014 Bourbon - North Star Spirits
Known as “The Golden Dram”, Aberfeldy is the honeyed Highland single malt that forms the soul of the Dewar’s blend. Here North Star Spirits presents it from a single bourbon barrel, at full strength and without compromises.

The Aberfeldy distillery was founded in 1896 by the Dewar family in Perthshire, on the banks of the Pitilie Burn — a stream famous for its golden deposits, from which the nickname “The Golden Dram” derives. Its spirit is renowned for its characteristic honey notes, the result of long fermentations in larch washbacks. This independent bottling by North Star Spirits, created for the tenth anniversary of the brand, frees the whisky from the usual reduced strength of the official releases.
The Aberfeldy 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in February 2014 and bottled in March 2026. The whisky was matured for approximately 12 years entirely in a single refill ex-bourbon barrel, which has allowed the distillery’s honeyed and fruity character to take centre stage. It is bottled at natural cask strength (52.8% vol.), without chill filtration and at its natural colour, in a limited edition of 320 bottles.
