This blended malt is the result of a collaboration between North Star Spirits and Ralfy, the well-known whisky reviewer and YouTuber, created for the tenth anniversary of the bottler. True to Ralfy’s style, this was no ordinary blend: over the course of two hours, live from the Whisky Bothy and streamed to his Patreon community, Ralfy combined five different Scottish malts on the spot.
The recipe combines 29% Teaninich (sherry octave), 28% of a secret Campbeltown (refill barrel), 19% Auchroisk (refill sherry hogshead), 14% Caol Ila (refill hogshead) and 10% of a secret Speyside (first fill hogshead). Proceeds from this bottling support Macmillan Cancer Support. It is bottled at natural cask strength (54.1% vol.), without chill filtration and at its natural colour, in a limited edition of 1,320 bottles.

Color: Amber gold.
Nose: Rich and spicy, with raisins and oak, soft vanilla, syrupy ginger and cooked plum, on a base of gentle smoke and sherry sweetness.
Palate: Full and layered, with Caol Ila peat, oak spice and liquorice, warm notes of ginger and aromatic herbs, enlivened by hints of salt and sweet fruit.
Finish: Long and enveloping, between chimney smoke, peppery oak, salty ash and a persistent sherry sweetness.
